Can I use Speedometer alongside Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze on CarPlay?

Speedometer doesn't replace your navigation app — it complements it. On modern CarPlay layouts (iOS 16+), the dashboard view can show Apple Maps turn-by-turn navigation alongside other live data, and you can switch between Speedometer and Maps as full-screen views with a single tap. Trip recording continues in the background regardless of which app is currently visible. Live Activities and Dynamic Island also surface Speedometer's trip stats on your iPhone's lock screen at the same time.
