Speed Limit Alert App for iPhone and CarPlay

Know the moment you’re over.

Choose the limit that fits the road and Odo warns you about a second after you pass it, with a beep that plays over your music, a vibration and a red warning on screen.

Why it matters

Speed creeps up without you noticing, especially on quiet roads and long highway stretches. An alert you can hear means you notice without having to look, and correcting early is much easier than explaining later.

Alerts you hear, feel and see.

Odo waits about a second over the limit before alerting, so a brief overshoot while passing doesn’t set it off, and clears the alert a second after you drop back under.

  • A short beep that mixes with your music and plays even in silent mode
  • Repeats every 1, 2, 3 or 5 seconds while you stay over
  • Vibration you can turn on or off
  • Speed digits turn red and the limit badge pulses

Change it as the road changes.

Limits change from town to highway, so Odo makes switching quick. Set a different limit for each trip straight from the speedometer.

  • Quick presets for common limits in every unit, editable up to 12
  • Tap the limit badge on the gauge to change it for this trip
  • Any limit from 20 to 300 on the settings slider
  • Mute alerts for an hour or until the trip ends

Hands-free and on CarPlay.

Change the limit by voice, or adjust it on your car’s screen when the over-limit prompt appears.

  • “Set speed limit to 50 in Odo”, from 20 to 200 in steps of 5
  • CarPlay over-limit prompt with buttons to raise or lower the limit
  • Speed-limit violations recorded for each trip

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Turn on the alert

In Odo’s settings, open the speed alert screen and set your limit.

  2. 2

    Choose how you’re alerted

Pick sound, vibration, or both, and how often the beep repeats.

  3. 3

    Adjust on the go

Tap the limit badge on the speedometer, use a preset, or ask Siri.

Odo alerts against the limit you set. It doesn’t read posted road speed limits.
