My automation isn't running automatically — how do I fix it?

If a Speedometer automation prompts you to confirm before running, the automation hasn't been set to run silently. Open the Shortcuts app → Automation → tap your automation → tap "Ask Before Running" → turn it off. The label will switch to "Run Immediately" and the automation will fire silently in the background. Also check that the trigger itself is supported in run-without-asking mode — CarPlay, Bluetooth, NFC, and Focus all support it; some others (like a manual time-of-day trigger) always confirm by design.
